Montgomery County Correctional Facilities

Montgomery County runs two correctional facilities. The Montgomery County Detention Center, known as MCDC, sits at 1307 Seven Locks Road in Rockville. This is the pre-trial facility where new arrests go for processing and detention. The phone number for MCDC is 240-777-9960. The second site is the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, or MCCF, at 22880 Whelan Lane in Boyds. MCCF has 1,029 beds and handles sentenced inmates and those awaiting trial who cannot post bond. The visiting desk at MCCF is 240-773-9701.

The Department of Correction and Rehabilitation oversees both sites. The department has stated clearly that it does not have an automated list of offenders. This means there is no online jail roster you can browse for Montgomery County. The screenshot below shows the main corrections page for the county.
